Group Tour to the Atlantic Pearl – Madeira Island

Welcome to Madeira! Upon arrival at the airport, a private transfer will be waiting to take us to the hotel, where we will be staying for two nights.
After checking in at the hotel, we will have some free time before starting our city tour.
After lunch, we will begin a guided tour of Funchal with a local guide, where we will explore the main sights of the city.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel in a private transfer. Dinner at the hotel is included.

Today we will visit the west side of the island! The tour will start in the morning, right after breakfast, beginning with the first traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. The trip will continue to Cabo Girão, the second highest cliff in the world and the highest cliff in Europe.
Upon arriving in Ribeira Brava, we will head north, climbing up the deep, narrow valleys of Serra D'Água. Here we will find Encumeada, a special place at the top of the valley, where you can enjoy incredible views of the south and north coasts of the island.
Next, we will head to São Vicente, one of the largest villages on the north coast of Madeira. The next stop will be in the beautiful village of Porto Moniz, where we will have the opportunity to admire the fantastic volcanic pools.
On the way back, we will cross the highest plateau in Madeira, Paul da Serra, with all its spectacular panoramic views over the island.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel in a private transfer. Dinner at the hotel is included.

In the morning, we will have breakfast at the hotel and check out, leaving our bags at the reception. Then we will depart for the tour of the east side of the island. The first stop will be at Terreiro da Luta. The trip will continue towards the Pico do Areeiro mountain. At an altitude of 1,818 meters, it is the third highest peak on the island and offers breathtaking views.
Next, we will descend towards the coast through the forest to the iconic thatched houses of Madeira. Passing through picturesque villages and stunning seascapes, you will reach the easternmost point of the island, where you can enjoy superb views of the north coast and the sunny south coast.
On the northern slope of the island, the tour arrives at a popular spot for levada walks, Ribeiro Frio. With its interesting trout ponds, this area still retains much of its original vegetation. The island was once completely covered by Laurissilva forest, a relic of prehistoric times. We will still have time to stop in Santana, known for its small triangular thatched houses.
Next, we will head towards Ponta de São Lourenço, located on the eastern part of the island, where there is a fantastic combination of rocks, sea, and nature.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel in a private transfer and head to the airport to catch our return flight.
