On arrival at Porto airport, a private transfer will take you to the hotel.

And then the time is all yours! Take a stroll around the city center, where you will find super cool shops and wonderful restaurants.

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the city of Porto with our official tour guide.

In the historic city centre, considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will have time to explore the Livraria Lello, where Harry Potter books and films were inspired. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Torre dos Clérigos, an icon of the city, as well as Palácio da Bolsa, characterised by its incredible granite work and magnificent neo-Arab influences (entrance not included).

While strolling through the city, you will make a few stops at typical establishments to taste some of Porto's best delicacies!

The tour will end with a visit to the famous Port Wine Cellars and wine tasting. At the end of the visit a transfer will take you back to your hotel.

After having breakfast and checking out at the hotel, a private transfer will take you to Pinhão through Estrada Nacional 222, one of the most amazing roads in Portugal, where you can enjoy the unique beauty of the Douro River.

The guide will show you Pinhão and the best views of the Douro Valley, followed by a traditional lunch in one of the famous wineries of the Douro Valley.

In the afternoon you will make a visit to the vineyards, where you will be entitled to a wine tasting.

End the afternoon in beauty with a boat trip on the Douro River and delight yourself with the breathtaking landscapes.

At the end, a transfer will take you back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will have free time to relax or to do personal activities.

At lunchtime, you will enjoy one of the best experiences in Douro: a picnic amidst the vineyards followed by a wine tasting in one of the Douro's fantastic wineries. If the weather conditions don't allow the picnic to take place, lunch will be at a typical local restaurant.

The transfer will take you back to the hotel.

After checking out of the hotel in Douro, a transfer will take you to Porto Airport to catch the flight to Ponta Delgada. In Azores, a transfer will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel, which is centrally located in Ponta Delgada.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the tour to the Sete Cidades and Fogo lakes.

Day 6 of this tour begins with a visit to a traditional pineapple plantation, an organic culture developed in greenhouses and where you can taste the pineapple liquor. The journey will continue on the west coast of the island, stopping at the famous viewpoint of Pico do Carvão to enjoy the breathtaking view over both coasts of the island. Surrounded by vividly coloured vegetation, you will find the Vista do Rei viewpoint, the volcanic complex of Sete Cidades, where you can delight in the superb view over the blue lagoon and the green lagoon. Descending into the interior of the crater, you may glimpse another lagoon, the Santiago lagoon. Already in the centre of Sete Cidades, you will visit the magnificent Church of São Nicolau, followed by lunch at a regional restaurant.

In the afternoon, the excursion continues along the coast, enjoying the green landscape and passing by the Escalvado viewpoint, where you will be able to see the village of Mosteiros.

Continuing along the north coast, you will visit the historical centre of the city of Ribeira Grande. Heading towards Lagoa do Fogo, you will visit the natural monument of Caldeira Velha (optional), a natural reserve where you can take a bath in thermal waters coming from a waterfall. You will climb a little further and reach the fantastic Lagoa do Fogo where you can marvel at the breathtaking view.

After breakfast, you will set off to discover Furnas and the western part of the island.

The first stop will be at Vila Franca do Campo, the first capital of São Miguel Island, located on the south coast. Here you will be able to admire the famous islet of Vila Franca with its crater inside. Arriving at the Furnas lake, you will see some volcanic phenomena known as fumaroles and you can observe the cooking method used for the traditional and tasty "Cozido das Furnas", a gastronomic speciality of São Miguel.

This is followed by a visit to the Terra Nostra park, with the chance to experience a thermal bath and then lunch. Still in the centre of the town of Furnas, you will visit the boilers and the fumaroles, as well as the various types of water springs. On the north coast towards Ponta Delgada, you will stop at Pico de Ferro viewpoint, where you will have a view of Lagoa das Furnas and the town to which it belongs.

Arriving at Ribeira Grande, you will visit the Gorreana tea plantation and its factory, where you will be able to drink green or black tea. The last stop will be at Santa Iria viewpoint, overlooking much of the north coast.

After you have had your breakfast and checked out of the hotel, a transfer will take you to Ponta Delgada airport, where you will catch your flight to Porto or Lisbon.
