This is one of the most popular trails on the island, a true masterpiece of nature. Descending from the famous plateau of Paúl da Serra, we arrive at the shelter of Rabaçal and from there we head towards the Risco waterfall. Then we go down the Levada das 25 Fontes and walk until we reach a kind of lagoon. This lagoon is located at the bottom of a rock from which 25 waterfalls (fountains) fall, which is why they named this levada. On the way back, the route takes us through a tunnel that also directs the water towards the south of the island.
