Sea Life Porto is an aquarium with more than 3,000 fascinating creatures, where you can walk through the country's first underwater tunnel and see the impressive sharks up close. It is located in a privileged area of the city, with stunning views of the sea.
The space is divided into several areas, including the Rock Pools, where you can hold an urchin and touch a starfish, the Ocean Caves, where you can see sharks and the famous Mariza (the green turtle that weighs over 100kg), and the Stingray Bay, which houses the largest collection of cowrie rays in the country.
During the day, you'll also have the chance to attend free talks and feeding demonstrations and, for the younger ones, there's also a fun quiz about the marine world, with clues scattered around the aquariums and incredible curiosities to discover.
