This tour will start in the center of Ponta Delgada, from where we head to the Lagoa do Fogo nature reserve through off-road routes. This is one of the most untouched places on the island of São Miguel, a magnificent crater from which a large and wonderful lagoon was born.
Next, the destination will be Caldeira Velha where you can enjoy a thermal bath. With a cascade of hot, iron-rich water, you might feel like you're immersed in a tropical forest! Then we will drive to the Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande where it is possible to observe the phenomena of secondary volcanism.
The tour lasts 3h30 and the return to Ponta Delgada is made through the north of the island.
