This experience is for all those who enjoy a good gastronomic adventure with an explosion of the most famous regional flavors with the difference being our visitors being chefs for a day and cooking the famous Furnas stew on the island of São Miguel!
The day begins with the collection of passengers in the center of Ponta Delgada at 7:45 am, with a stop at Mercado da Graça where we will buy the ingredients to prepare lunch. On the way to Vila das Furnas, there will be time for a brief stop in Vila Franca do Campo, to taste the traditional Queijada da Vila.
Once we arrive at Furnas, it's time to prepare your lunch between the different culinary tasks so you can cook in the heat of the earth. While the food cooks, we will have time for a short walk around the lagoon and with the possibility of a final bath in Poça da Dona Beija.
We return to the Furnas area and have lunch in the lagoon's picnic area. On the way back, the path is made towards the north of the island towards the Pico do Ferro viewpoint and later to the Gorreana Tea Factory where it is possible to taste its teas. Before reaching Ponta Delgada, we will also take a break at the Miradouro de Santa Iria.
