Why choose this experience

Start the day with a pick-up from your hotel in Funchal or the cruise port. Head towards Fajã dos Padres, a 310-meter cliff, to start the safari. As you head up towards the hills you will stop halfway to use the restrooms. Continue your drive after this short break. You will then arrive at a serene place where you can enjoy a view over the village of Jardim da Serra.

Then go down towards the village of Fajã das Galinhas. Afterwards, make a short visit to Boca dos Namorados for a panoramic view of the village of Curral das Freiras. The valley terrain keeps this picturesque village isolated from other communities. After completing the tour, your guide will start the journey back to Funchal via the motorway.

In the case of hotels and inns on the North Coast, we have the following options for boarding and returning passengers:
Pick-up at the hotel has an additional cost of €10 per passenger.
Pickup from customers at the Ribeira Brava Fire Station, time to be arranged at the time of booking, with no additional cost to the ticket.

Deposits are non-refundable. To get a refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours before your experience start time. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start time of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 48 hours before the start time of the experience will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience's local time. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If canceled because the minimum has not been met, you will receive a different date/experience or a full refund.
