Our tour starts with picking up passengers in the center of Ponta Delgada. Afterwards, we will start heading north, where the day will be spent in harmony with the surrounding nature. The first stop is at Ribeira dos Caldeirões, which belongs to the parish that gives the name to our tour, Nordeste. At this point, you can see waterfalls, water mills and the magnificent gardens in this area.
On the way to the next destination, we will pass through the picturesque Vila do Nordeste. It is in the eastern part of the island that we find the Miradouro Ponta do Sossego and the Miradouro Ponta da Madrugada from where it is possible to observe the famous Arnel lighthouse.
During the lunch break, we will visit the village of Povoação, name derived from the fact that it was the first region of the island to be populated! We will have time to get to know its small historic center and also the fishermen's port, where it will be possible to enjoy some calm and tranquility. On the way back to the starting point, Ponta Delgada, we will pass through Vila das Furnas from where it is possible to observe its large and famous lagoon.
