with 6 million visitors in 2019.

city, which in the 19th century was just an unknown village until the Marian
apparitions to the 3 little shepherds took place between May 13 and October 13,
1917. It was elevated to city on July 12, 1997 after its rapid development
around the Sanctuary of Fatima.

pilgrims annually and projects an atmosphere of serenity and light, inviting
harmony and reflection to those who pass by. You will have the opportunity to
visit its Basilicas, Cruz Alta, Casa dos Pastorinhos and much more freely and
independently.
